Proj-X Solutions Ltd (Proj-X) was formed in 2007; with the two founding directors Bryan Spinks and Antony Manners specialised in the successful delivery of complex health projects. For seven years prior to establishing their new company, both directors had been employed by Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) in their Site Redevelopment team working exclusively on health projects such as the Christchurch Women’s Hospital Project.
Proj-X Solutions managed all aspects of the redevelopment directly and as per our preferred method of project delivery, we attended all of the user group and design meetings. We have, from experience, found this to be invaluable in the process as it enables direct input from the client’s stakeholders to be fully understood by those managing the project. In addition and particularly at the completion of a project (often when the hospital has had turnover in staff) a detailed knowledge of the clinical decision making process assists in working through the inevitable questions that arise at project handover stage.
